Tanah Pottery is an artisan studio that specializes in custom ceramic tableware. The idea behind the design and materially of their first pottery shop was to capture essence of their stoneware that is 100 % handmade. In doing so tactility becomes important, thus the entire shop was completely constructed in rammed earth that has been mixed with their very own crushed terracotta tiles that results in the pinkish color toned walls and texture on the wall. The design of the shop consist of a minimalist environment that features their latest ceramic collection, a small coffee shop and seating.
